Terms of Use

Tidyshots is a product name of, and is operated by, Elowin Labs LLC ("we", "us"). References to "Tidyshots" mean Elowin Labs LLC doing business as Tidyshots. By downloading or using the Tidyshots app (the "App") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict for App Store matters, Apple's terms govern.

1. The App

Tidyshots scans the photo library on your device to identify similar photos, exact duplicates, screenshots, blurry photos and large videos, and, with Contacts access, duplicate contact cards. It proposes items to delete, compress or merge. Results are automated suggestions. You review every selection and you decide what to delete. Deletion happens through the iOS confirmation dialog, and deleted items remain in your Recently Deleted album for 30 days, from where you can restore them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Free features and Pro

Scanning and reviewing results are free. Deleting, compressing videos and merging contacts require Pro. Pro is offered as an auto-renewing weekly subscription (with an introductory free trial where available), an auto-renewing yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Exact prices are shown in the App before you buy and are charged to your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. A free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The lifetime purchase is a single payment tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your devices with Restore Purchases.

4. Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Your content

Your photos, videos and contacts are yours and stay on your device. The App does not upload them and we claim no rights in them. You are responsible for keeping backups of anything you care about, for reviewing suggestions before confirming a delete, and for what you choose to remove.

6. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with the App or the App Store's purchase mechanisms, and do not use the App in violation of applicable law or Apple's terms.

7. Our intellectual property

The App, its design, code and trademarks are owned by Elowin Labs LLC or its licensors. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

8. Third-party services

The App uses Apple's frameworks for photo analysis, purchases and ad attribution, and TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage analytics, as described in the Privacy Policy. Those services are governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SIMILARITY, BLUR OR DUPLICATE DETECTION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE, THAT COMPRESSION WILL PRESERVE ANY PARTICULAR QUALITY, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOWIN LABS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PHOTOS, VIDEOS, CONTACTS OR OTHER DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription, which you manage through your Apple Account. We may suspend or end access to the App if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights are not affected.
